Following CABE Board approval, building control apprentices who have completed the third year of their CABE-accredited building control apprenticeship with a CABE academic partner are now eligible to apply via the CABE Building Inspector Competence Assessment Scheme (CBICAS) for 2A, 2B and 2D certification with CABE.
This change is designed to support apprentices progressing within the profession and to ensure timely access to the assessment pathway.
