New CEO at CCW

CCW has appointed Emma Clancy as its Chief Executive. Emma joins from global building products manufacturer BMI. She is currently Chair of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (BRAC) and has served the committee for nine years. Emma is heading up a number of committees providing advice to government, helping to develop the future regulatory framework for buildings addressing sustainability and safety issues.

Emma replaces Tony Smith, whose 15-year leadership helped CCW to strengthen consumers’ influence over key regulatory decisions.
