Building Regulations mandates use of pipe seals

Part L of the Building Regulations now mandates the use of pipe seals, bringing energy efficiency and health and safety benefits, explains Alex Lever, Director of PipeSnug.

As part of the government’s carbon emission reduction strategy, changes to Part L of the Building Regulations in England came into force in June 2022. Part L sets new and higher standards for energy and carbon emissions, both for new builds and change-of-use construction projects.
