Modular Construction
MPA Group explores how modular construction is helping to solve the UK housing crisis.
While it’s not a new concept, modular construction is seeing a surge in popularity as housebuilders and policymakers realise its potential to solve a number of the industry’s current challenges. Modular construction is most commonly a process where building components are produced in a factory before being transported to the site for assembly. The pieces arrive already finished, minimising the amount of technical work required on-site.
