CLC creates a new digital network

With a renewed focus on sector transformation and recovery, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has established a new Digital Network as a key part of the CLC Task Force Group. The Digital Network is tasked by CLC with facilitating and accelerating digital transformation in the UK's built environment, with the aim of improving industry performance and export potential. Working with Digital Leads from each workstream in the CLC Task Force Group, the Digital Network will connect and co-ordinate the digital activities and initiatives across the CLC, enabling each workstream to drive the digital transformation that works best for their part of the industry.

The Digital Network will focus on enabling change, so it will work closely with other leading industry groups such as the UK BIM Alliance, CSIC and CDBB.

The Digital Network builds upon several industry initiatives that are already enabling change. This diverse and collaborative approach is being driven by the industry rather than Government. A very welcome development in the acceleration of digital transformation across the built environment.
