Coopers Fire’s Active Fire Curtain Barriers seminar first to be awarded CABE Approved CPD status
CABE is delighted to announce that the first content to gain CABE Approved CPD recognition is Coopers Fire’s Active Fire Curtain Barrier webinar.
Good quality CPD is key to personal development, but it can be difficult to know where to find it. The newly established CABE Approved CPD addresses this − a trusted list of reputable resources accessible to members and construction professionals to assist in achieving CPD goals.
Coopers Fire’s comprehensive, educational seminar is designed to provide professionals with a greater understanding of fire curtain barriers and the governing standards that regulate their use.
To be awarded with CABE Approved status, the CPD’s learning objectives were mapped against CABE’s Competency Framework, ensuring that the Coopers Fire seminar’s learning outcomes are aligned with the competency needs of building engineers and construction professionals.
"At CABE, we want members to have better access to high quality CPD for personal development," said Richard Harral, CABE CEO. "The launch of CABE Approved CPD reinforces our commitment to this goal, signposting members to valuable CPD that can be trusted to genuinely improve skills and professional competence.
"We are delighted to work with long-term partners Coopers Fire and to award their Active Fire Curtain Barrier webinar as the first CABE Approved CPD. Coopers Fire and CABE share a common goal to improve standards within the industry and CABE’s approval is proof of their dedication to this goal."
David Cerquella, Managing Director of Coopers Fire, commented: "We are excited about working with CABE on delivering CPD because their commitment to advancing building engineering standards aligns perfectly with our mission to provide high-quality, relevant professional development.
"Together, we can enhance the skills and knowledge of industry professionals, ensuring they are equipped to meet the evolving challenges of the built environment. By focusing on standards, we aim to promote best practice and drive excellence across the industry, ultimately contributing to safer, more sustainable, and efficient building projects. We invite you to join our CPD programmes and be part of this transformative journey towards excellence in building engineering."
The CABE Approved CPD library will develop over time, becoming a rich database
of valuable resources for setting objectives and reaching targets. When a course displays the CABE Approved CPD badge, rest assured this reflects a standard of recognised excellence.
