The Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) has welcomed the Department for Transport’s draft Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy (CWIS3), praising its ambition to make active travel safer and more accessible in urban and rural areas.

Sue Percy CBE, Chief Executive of CIHT, said: “CWIS3 is a vital step towards healthier, more connected communities.”
