Ian Shapiro has been appointed as the new CEO of the Building Research Establishment (BRE).
He joins BRE following seven years as CEO of Reall, a non-profit organisation that invests in and develops sustainable, affordable housing solutions in Africa and Asia. He will continue in his advisory roles for UN-Habitat and WHG.
