SocEnv sets out 10 priorities for the new government

The Environmental Policy Forum has set out ten priorities for the new UK government:
- Improve environmental governance to ensure effective policy delivery.
- Unlock the enormous social, economic and environmental potential of green jobs and skills.
- Take a holistic approach to land use.
- Ensure soils are treated as a valuable resource.
- Achieve 30x30 commitment to reverse biodiversity decline.
- Transform the UK agricultural and food system to secure access to sustainable sources of food.
- Prioritise water resilience.
- Increase ambitions and holistic action for a country with cleaner air.
- Deliver a truly circular economy.
- Unlock investment in low carbon technologies to realise net zero.
