The BRE has revealed the winners of its annual BREEAM Awards 2025 celebrating the projects, organisations and people leading the way in sustainable building design, development and management.
This year’s submissions boasted the widest variety of projects to date, from a shopping mall in Madrid to revitalised offices in London’s financial core. Jonas in the Netherlands (pictured) won two awards, including a People’s Choice. This project is a zero-energy residential building incorporating nearly 300 homes. Its architecture and material selection encompass concepts of shelter and traditions of shipbuilding, reflecting the harbourside location.
