Liverpool Mayor signs CITB deal to tackle 9,000-worker skills gap

Mayor Steve Rotheram has signed a first-of-its-kind training agreement to tackle an estimated shortfall of 9,000 building workers in the Liverpool City Region.

It is the first formal partnership under the Construction Industry Training Board’s new national initiative to create a connected Construction Skills Ecosystem across England.
