CABE pre-qualification open for RICS EWS training

Chartered Members, Chartered Building Engineers and Chartered Fellows who wish to gain access to the RICS External Walls Systems (EWS) Assessment Training Programme are once again invited to undertake pre-qualification via CABE.

Pre-qualification criteria is as follows – you must:

  • be a CABE Chartered Member, Chartered Building Engineer or Chartered Fellow
  • have at least 10 years of industry experience
  • have at least five years of those 10 years involved in building control, building surveying or fire engineering disciplines; and
  • complete and pass the CABE Principles of Fire Safety Training course.*

*CABE Members who hold MIFireE or FIFireE grade with the Institution of Fire Engineers do not need to undertake the CABE Principles of Fire Safety Training course.
