The construction industry is delivering truly exceptional projects from new buildings constructed using sustainable techniques to reduce its environmental impact, to renovations of tired spaces to create vibrant community spaces.

These projects all have things in common a desire to produce high quality buildings, structures that are safe and inclusive, and places that create positive benefits to not just the client, but for the users and society.

The CABE Built Environment awards shine a spotlight on this excellence, recognising the role all professionals play in delivering these outstanding construction projects. Whether you are the designer, surveyor, project manager, sustainability engineer or a building control professional, the awards are open to you. With categories ranging from new builds to renovation, sustainability to building safety, the awards recognise the contribution you, and your team, has played in the overall delivery of the construction project.

Alison Duckles, Professional Development Director, said: “It takes a team to deliver a building project, but it is so easy not to recognise how integral your role has played in the successful outcome of a project. You have faced challenges, come up with solutions and provided advice, and without your expertise and knowledge the project would not have reached completion. The CABE built environment awards give you a chance to change this, allowing you to gain the recognition you deserve for the part you, and your team play in raising standards for the industry.”

This year alongside the project awards, we are introducing individual awards to allow us to recognise CABE members and acknowledge their recent achievements and contribution to the industry.

The awards are open for submissions until 31 May 2022 and you can enter at cbuilde.com/built_environment_awards
