CABE’s Annual Conference this year introduces our new academic research forum. The built environment is continually facing challenges, from the climate change emergency to reducing the embodied and operational carbon emissions of buildings.

Building engineers working in practice and in education institutions are actively researching and developing ways in which, as an industry, we can lead on embedding sustainability to combat these challenges.

The forum is a way for academic partners and researchers to present this research and design work with the conference audience. We are inviting researchers, academic institutions, government and professional practices to submit an A1 poster presentation to share their work, research and future works that will combat these challenges.

Initial submissions for review consideration must be submitted by 31 August 2022.

Successful candidates will be invited to present alongside the CABE Annual Conference on Thursday 13 October 2022 at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.
