The CABE Gold Service Award is presented to members who have supported and advanced the Association through their ideas and values. Every year the CABE Awards Panel convenes to decide on the recipients of the Gold Service Award, and this year the panel have chosen two recipients – Joe Twomey and Carol Langham – for their dedication to the Association and their
desire to help its members.
It has been a month of firsts for me. My first outing since the Coronavirus lockdown to a safe and discrete inauguration at HQ; donning the presidential chain for the first time; chairing my first CABE virtual board; my first attempt at crowd control through digital means; and my first welcome page in Building Engineer as your new President.
